Steamatic Records was born from a vision—to create a space where artists could grow, express, and be heard without limits. Founded in Jamaica by Jamaican-born artist, producer, and entrepreneur Bas360, the label was relocated to Los Angeles where it was built from scratch by someone who lived the grind and mastered the game.
What started as a home studio turned into a full-scale creative hub—a sanctuary for reggae, hip-hop, dancehall, R&B, punk rock, and everything in between. Bas360 knew that many talented artists were being overlooked or boxed in by the industry. So he created an alternative: a label that champions independence, creative freedom, and cultural authenticity.
At its core, Steamatic Records is about more than just music—it’s about movement, mission, and momentum. We blend Caribbean energy with West Coast ambition, producing sounds that speak across borders and generations.
From recording and mixing to artist development, merchandise, and visuals—Steamatic is not just where the music gets made, it’s where artists become legends.
