Born Keron Buckley, Jah Malo is a seasoned Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist from downtown Kingston. Raised in a musical family, he began his journey under the mentorship of his father, Jah Himple, and as part of Capleton’s David House crew. With over two decades in the industry, Jah Malo has collaborated with legends such as Capleton, Sizzla, Bounty Killer, and the Marley brothers. Jah Malo founded Badslave Records in 2011, releasing tracks like Real Badslave and Wi a Badslave, which gained traction on social media. His single Emotional reached #16 on the iTunes Reggae Chart in October 2022. Jah Malo has worked with artists like IWaata on the remix of That’s A Trap, and with Bas360 on One Side. In 2025, he released singles such as Kill Today, Stay Dangerous, and Play with Yo Heart. Jah Malo's music blends traditional reggae with modern dancehall, delivering messages of resilience and empowerment. His New Wave EP, produced with Minto Pierre, aims to introduce a fresh sound to the genre.
